The Portégé R830 from Toshiba is much the same as any other Windows-based laptop. It has a slim tile keyboard, large multi-touch touchpad, ports of various kinds and sizes and a simple user interface. The one very simple difference between my super-large and super-heavy Dell laptop and this little wonder is the size and weight which makes the Portégé R830 VERY portable and not a pain in the shoulder so to speak.
