The newest iPhone was announced last year and clearly created a stir. I patiently waited for South Africa to get their stock so I could lay my hands on one of them and call it my own. What I was most excited about (besides getting the newest iPhone before my Apple-crazy husband) was trying out the new charging connector, and seeing whether it really was lighter and thinner compared to the iPhone 4 and 4S.
